2022 was an incredible year for T. Teal and we are so thankful to everyone who supported our mission last year, and those who have supported us since our inception in 2013! We are dedicated to continuing our mission of providing love, community, hope, and empowerment to cancer fighters and their families for many years to come.

In 2022 we…

• Renovated and moved into a bigger space. The larger space has allowed us more room for storage and the ability to welcome more cancer fighters and volunteers into our facility. The space is excellent for hosting makeup for Empowerment Shoots or Brave Shave parties and has allowed us to welcome in companies and even Congresswoman Bice and her staff to help spread love to those battling cancer! 
• Distributed 5,767 cancer care packs to men, women, and kids battling cancer. That’s 1,000 over last year.
• Given more than $50,000 in financial assistance to cancer fighters in Oklahoma who are in need.
• Provided a 10-day stay in a hotel for a homeless woman who had just had a mastectomy.
• We rented a car for an older adult who had an accident and needed transportation to her radiation.
• Hosted several private Brave Shave and Empowerment Shoots for women.
• Helped with gas and groceries for many in need who are feeling the extra pressure from inflation while battling a life-threatening illness.
• Participated in the Paycom Philanthropy Fair and shared the T. Teal mission with businesses, churches, and schools throughout Oklahoma.
• Benefited from fundraisers hosted by community groups, including; Bishop McGuinness Memorial Golf Tournament, Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen 5k & Fall Festival, and “Birdies for Boobies” – Disc Golf tournament
• We also received large grants from W. J. Jones Family Foundation, The Chickasaw Nation, Enterprise, and Firestone. 

And that list could go on and on. 

Our work at Tenaciously Teal is challenging and takes much time, but it is incredibly worth it. To see how much stress we can relieve for those going through a life-threatening battle or how much love cancer fighters experience from receiving a care pack of tangible items that give a lot of love and joy. And how much growth we have experienced over the last 9 years is an immense blessing. We absolutely couldn’t do it without you, our gracious support team. Thank you!

A donation of $25 provides a care pack to a cancer fighter, and a gift of $100 covers a gas card that provides travel assistance. A donation of $1,000 can be the difference between a fighter staying under their roof.
