About

DONATE
As humans, that’s what we’re built to do for each other. To love each other…to carry each other’s burdens.

Tenaciously Teal (T. Teal) is a non-profit dedicated to supporting cancer fighters and their families throughout cancer treatment.

T. Teal provides love, community, empowerment, and resources to cancer fighters and their families. We deliver cancer care packs to treatment centers across Oklahoma and mail cancer care packs nationwide to men, women, and children. T. Teal provides financial assistance for Oklahomans in need who are fighting cancer and celebrates cancer fighters' beauty and strength by offering Brave Shaves and Empowerment shoots.

I just didn’t think it was fair…That I had so much support,
and then there were people that had none.”
- Tarah GREEN, Founder
It’s our greatest call in life: To love others, to show kindness to those around us.

Tenaciously Teal’s founder, Tarah Green, was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in December of 2012.

After her surgery, she began to notice many patients who needed to be reminded of God’s love for them. Tarah began bringing Cancer Care Packs to treatment, and praying with patients over her sixteen months of chemo. Care Packs contained simple things Tarah used to fight cancer and as she distributed them she was able to share her joy and hope in Christ.

Tarah began distributing Care Pack and gas cards in the chemo room after seeing many who lacked resources and support during their fight with cancer.  Your support allows us to keep moving forward in this grassroots mission to spread hope, love, and light to cancer fighters. Please consider supporting the cause through a one-time or monthly tax deductible donation.

Why teal?

Well, pink seems to get a lot of love, and rightfully so. Pink has permeated communities, resonating with people as a medium for Breast Cancer Awareness! Teal represents Ovarian Cancer Awareness, a disease that 22,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with this year, and around 14,400 will lose their battle to. It is amazing to think about the lives saved through the simplicity of a pink ribbon, and T. Teal has high hopes that women, sisters, wives, and mothers will be saved because they know the meaning behind the color teal, and took a vested interest in their health by seeking answers and asking questions.

That’s what Tenaciously teal is…loving others.
