TARAH’S TENACIOUS STORY
Tenaciously Teal’s founder, Tarah Green, was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in December of 2012. After her surgery, she began to notice many patients who needed to be reminded of God’s love for them. Tarah began bringing Cancer Care Packs to treatment and praying with patients over her sixteen months of chemo.
Tenaciously Teal, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to walking alongside cancer fighters and their families. To date, T. Teal has delivered thousands of care packs across the U.S., provided hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct financial assistance, and empowered men and women through its signature Brave Shave and Empowerment Shoot programs. The T. Teal mission is simple yet profound: to provide love, community, empowerment, and essential resources that remind every fighter they are never alone.

Businesses, schools and community groups often invite her to speak while attendees put together cancer care packs, which is the perfect way to connect her personal story to the organization’s mission.
Speaking engagements
Tarah serves on the Stephenson Cancer Center’s Board of Advocates and has had the opportunity to share the story of her battle with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer at events ranging from women’s retreats to elementary school assemblies to non-profit events.
