Tenaciously Teal proudly “stands in the gap” for cancer fighters facing financial hardship as a direct result of their cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Even patients with health insurance may struggle with the hidden costs of treatment. Frequent appointments can increase transportation expenses. Treatment schedules may make it difficult or impossible to maintain normal work hours. At the same time, rent or mortgage payments, utility bills, groceries and other household expenses continue.

Through our Board Designated Fund, Tenaciously Teal provides financial assistance to Oklahoma cancer fighters experiencing significant hardship during active treatment.

Priority is given to patients experiencing circumstances such as:
Loss of employment or income because of treatment schedules and frequent medical appointments
Extended periods of active cancer treatment
Significant household financial hardship, particularly households with limited income
Difficulty maintaining essential household services or meeting critical living expenses
Urgent needs that cannot be adequately addressed through other available resources
